As seen on BBC Dragons' Den! I'm a full time musician and in 2021 and I designed and invented a fully playable 6 piece foot drum kit called Stomp It. You can play whilst singing and performing other instruments standing up or seated! Stomp It replicates a full drum kit including kick, snare, tambourine, 3 toms and crash/kick. In fact, you can add as many as you like and edit it to your own sounds! Check out my latest vids for more live action and updates on the Stomp It journey :-)

You have seen it in previous videos I have posted and watched it grow and develop. Now watch it when it was broadcast to the UK nation! I'm still in shock I even got that far.... :-)

I recall Steve and Dwight Yoakum made the cover of Time in the mid 90's as the new faces of alt-country. I guess they have to have a genre box to put them in but Steve's music is hard to pigeonhole, like Emmylou.

I remember the first time I heard this song, on the radio, in 1988. The first thing I thought was "is this the same guy who made just two kickin' rockabilly albums?" The second thing was MY GOD THIS IS A FANTASTIC SONG! I ran out and added Steve's newest to my LP library, wore it out until the grooves went grey. So happy that Steve is clean and sober today, and has lost none of his power. God Bless Steve Earle!

Why didn't you get a full pitch?
I'm lucky to had any airtime based on this series always doing longer pitches for actual business. They were aware I'm a working prototype for my gigs which got a great response but edited down. More would have been great as I was in there an hour or so. They missed some good chat, especially with Deborah and Peter. My whole pitch and opening Stomp It song was missing. I'm very lucky though to have been shown and given any airtime. I know what I have is different. It just needs the right guidance. Even with people with disabilities wanting to play. I've had an email about that already and it was in my original pitch. I'm really thankful for the 3 mins. One door opens another. 🙂
@@RichBaxterMusic You were dealt a bad hand! Seems like they overbooked and had to choose one to cut down. I'd have been annoyed if they cut my song out. Regardless, your energy seems great, keep going man. I'm sure it'll be a hit if you put in the work
@@dimitriousdrake Thank you!! It's definitely great leverage to the next stage. It's worth mentioning that not everyone that goes in the Den is lucky enough to be aired. I could have completely missed out which would have been much harder to take. I'm extremely thankful to the producers!
